| no release date is final until blizzard has confirmed it. this especially includes what stores clerks in stores who dont know what they are talking about promise. I have been following sc2 in great detail, and i can guarantee it will not even come close to being released this year. We might get a hint at blizzcon, but given the fact that the game is still in early internal alpha is a good indicator that the game is still a long way off. The game is nowhere near release, and the beta will take about 5~ months. I quote Rob Pardo from WWI (July 29th, 2008); he said something like "The single player is 1/3rd done, and i hope i will be able to share some more information about its development by the end of this year". My guess is Q2 2009 Earliest. |
