Section A [Beginner]


1.1. Why be a Magician
There are 4 Jobs for you to choose. Warrior, Magician, Bowman and Thief. I
love Magician and therefore, I recommend it. Although its slow to level
during 5 to 13, you will enjoy in the later part. The good thing is that you
can do the job advancement at level 8. Magicians have Quite low HP but High
MP. But I still recommend Magician.


1.2. Stats required
You will need 4str, 4dex, Xint, Xluk.
Str : Magician dont need it because you will be counting on your INT to
attack others.
Dex : Magician dont need it because you will be depending Accuracy on
INT/Luk.
Int : Magician need it because the higher the Int, the higher your attack
will be.
Luk : Magician need only some of this because of equipping Weapons and
Armours. It increases Avoidability. This could help in Accuracy for Magician
too. [Not so sure. Still finding] Keep Luck above 3 your level. [e.g. Level
10 should have 13luck in order to equip weapons and armours]

So when you are level 8, your stats should have:
Str : 4
Dex : 4
Int : 41
Luk : 11

After level 8, you will put 4 AP to Int and 1 AP to Luk for every level you
get. Keep this order for the whole life of the magician.


1.3. Training Tips and Spots
Train ONLY on Green, Blue Snails[Snail Hunting Ground II(Recommended) and
Shrooms. [Get 10 orange mushroom tops and 30 blue snail shells to complete a
quest in South Perry in order to get either a Fruit Knife[Better] or a
Razor. It¡¯s random. Get the Orange mushroom tops at the portal right of
Amherst. [Middle Top, where the Orange mushrooms have no way of attacking
you unless you jump over.]
Train Green Snails, Blue Snails, Shrooms at Split Road. Its good to train
there because you will be revived just at the right portal[South Perry] and
its fast to get back to train.


1.4. A new world
Get as much as mesos as you can. Pay 150mesos through Shanks[Only when you
are level 8] and you will get to Victoria Island. If you managed to get
2,000 mesos and above, buy a Stolen Fence in Lith Harbor Defense Shop. DO
NOT buy any weapons. Talk to Phil in the Ticket Booth around the place you
landed from Maple Island, go to Ellinia by paying him 120mesos. Note :
Beginners gets 90% discount of traveling through Taxi and Phil.


1.5. 1st Job Advancement [Magician]
Go to the TOP of Ellinia and enter the house. Talk to Grendel the Very Old
and ask for a Job Advancement to officially become a Magician. Note : Your
MP has increased quite a bit as Magician depends on MP to live on.
Congratulations, you have become a Magician. It¡¯s a little bit though to
level up but you have to Endure!

Section B [Magician]

2.1. Skills Acquired


Improving MP Recovery
Master Level : 16 Type: Passive
Description : With this, you'll receive even more MP every 10 seconds.
Each skill point that is added here increases the amount of MP you regain
every 10 seconds by 1. The amount of MP you regain depends on your level and
INT.

Improving Max MP Increase
Master Level : 10 Type: Passive
Pre-requisite : Improving MP Recovery Lv. 5
Description : While having a Level UP, if AP is used on Max MP, it raises
the
level increase for max AP. For every level you get, the more MP increment
you get.

Magic Guard
Master Level : 20 Type: Supportive
Description : Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP
reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit.
Level 1 : MP -6; replaces 4% of HP damage as MP for 30 seconds.
Level 10 : MP -6; replaces 40% of HP damage as MP for 300 seconds.
Level 20 : MP -12; replaces 80% of HP damage as MP for 600 seconds.
Note for Clerics : Alot of Clerics think that having Magic Armor is good
enough as they can heal themselves. They ARE WRONG! Imagine you are on a
C.Rog expedition and you are the ONLY healer left and you get a Black
Thunder from C.Rog. What is Magic Armor going to help you in this situation?
NOTHING!

Magic Armor
Master Level : 20 Type: supportive
Pre-requisite : Magic Guard Lv. 3
Description: Temporarily boosts the weapon defense by blowing magic into the
armor.
Level 1 : MP -8; Weapon Def. + 2 for 20 seconds.
Level 10 : MP -8; Weapon Def. +20 for 200 seconds.
Level 20 : MP -16; Weapon Def. +40 for 400 seconds.

Energy Bolt
Master Level : 20 Type: Active
Description : Use MP to attack one Enemy.
Level 1 : MP -7; Basic Attack 17, mastery 15%.
Level 10 : MP -7; Basic attack 35, mastery 35%.
Level 20 : MP -14; Basic attack 55, mastery 60%.

Magic Claw
Master Level : 20 Type: Active
Pre-requisite : Energy Bolt Lv. 1
Description: Use MP to attack an enemy twice.
Level 1 : MP -10; Basic attack 6, mastery 15%.
Level 10 : MP -10; Basic attack 20, mastery 35%.

2.4. 2nd Job Advancement [Fire/Poison Wizard]

Go to Grendel the Really Old [Ellinia Top house] and do what he asks you to.
He will tell you to go to an Instructor located at the 3rd portal towards
Perion from Ellinia, TOP ALL the way. Talk to him and you will be teleported
to a tree dungeon with Curse Eyes and Horned Mushrooms. They¡¯re much
stronger then normal ones. They do NOT give EXP and Mesos. ONLY Dark
Marbles. You need to collect 30 of them and bring them back to the
Instructor. Go back to Grendel the Really Old and you¡¯ll be able to choose
your 2nd Job Advancement. Fire/Poison Wizard is the One.

In the start, the Fire Arrow is not strong enough. Try using Magic Claw
until your Fire Arrow overpowers your Magic Claw. Then, use Fire Arrow to
fight.

Section C [Fire/Poison Wizard]


3.1. Skills Acquired
MP Eater
Master Level : 20 Type: Passive
Description : Soak up an enemy's MP after every magic attack. But if its MP
reaches 0, no more.
Level 1 : For every attack, 11% success rate, absorb 21% of the enemy's
MaxMP
Level 10 : For every attack, 20% success rate, absorb 30% of enemy's MaxMP
Level 20 : For every attack, 30% success rate, absorb 40% of enemy's MaxMP

Meditation
Master Level : 20 Type: Supportive
Pre-requisite : MP Eater Lv. 3
Description : Meditate for a bit to temporarily boost up the magic attack of
party members around the area.
Level 1 : MP -10; Magic Attack +1 for 10 seconds
Level 10 : MP -10; Magic Attack +10 for 100 seconds
Level 20 : MP -20; Magic Attack +20 for 200 seconds

Teleport
Master Level : 20 Type: Supportive
Description : Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map
on a set distance. The higher the skill level, the less MP you spend.
Level 1 : MP -60; Teleport, with 130 in distance
Level 10 : MP -33; Teleport, with 130 in distance
Level 20 : MP -13; Teleport, with 150 in distance
Note : It isnt THAT far. eg. From Perion to Ellinia. Its only a few steps
but it has it own advantages.

Slow
Master Level : 20 Type: Supportive
Pre-requisite : Teleport Lv. 5
Description : Temporarily slows down the opponents around you. Cannot use it
on them twice at once, and affects only 6 enemies per attack.
Level 1 : MP -8; Speed -2 for 2 seconds
Level 10 : MP -8; Speed -20 for 20 seconds
Level 20 : MP -16; Speed -40 for 40 seconds

Fire Arrow
Master Level : 30 Type: Active
Description : Create a firearrow with the power of magic, and fires at an
enemy. Applies 1.5 times the damage to the ice-based monsters, whereas
fire-based enemies receive only half the damage.
Level 1 : MP -14; Basic attack 33, mastery 15%
Level 15 : MP -14; Basic attack 75, mastery 35%
Level 30 : MP -28; Basic attack 120, mastery 60%

Poison Brace
Master Level : 30 Type: Active
Description : Create a poisonous water bubble, and shoots at an enemy. The
enemy gets temporarily poisoned with a set success rate. Once poisoned, the
HP slowly decreases.
Level 1 : MP -10; Basic attack 12, mastery 15%, 31% success rate, poison for
4 sec
Level 15 : MP -10; Basic attack 40, mastery 35%, 45% success rate, poison
for 20 sec
Level 30 : MP -20; Basic attack 70, mastery 60%, 60% success rate, poison
for 40 sec

?? means I am not sure. I am not that high level. After level 50 is my

Reasons for Hunting
Undead Mushroom : 1hit KO, may drop Chaos Robe
Ice Sentinel : 2-3 hit KO - Get a good scroll and you'll strike rich, Fire
Arrow is prefered, save mp.
Jr.Grupin : 1hit KO - Only successfully 1hit ko of all hits on lvl44
Jr.Pepe[1st] : 2-4 hit KO = Kill them at the Top part of the map to avoid
massive damage
Note: Its at the top part of the map, not below. and your fire arrow is only
lvl15, not 30. even if its maxed[30] on lvl40, it still cant kill Jr.Pepe in
1hit.
Jr.Pepe[2nd] : 1hit KO
Jr.Yeti : 2hit KO - Kill them only on lvl50 and above as you'll 'miss' them
alot.

Why not?:
Crocos - Low spawn, high damage received.
Pepe - High hp, waste of mp.
White Pang - Its after Jr.Yeti, when to fight is not confirmed.
Grupin - Their damage is too high for you too take, again waste of mp. When
to fight is not confirmed.
Cold Eye - Too little Mesos, bad map. - as in, the landform isnt that great.


well, its your choice on where you want to fight anyway.




3.4. 3rd Job Advancement [Fire/Poison Mage]

What I know from this is you will do the Job Advancement level at level 70
and you will have to fight your own mentor. [e.g. Magician has to fight
Grendel the Really Old] You will have to defeat them within the time limit :
20minutes.
Note : Every Mentor possesses different skills

Talk to Robeira in El Nath located slightly Middle, Top right House. Fly
back to Victoria and talk to Grendel the Really Old [Ellinia Top house].
He'll tell you to go to the Door of Dimension.

The Door of Dimension is located at Forest of Evil 2 - Where MAlady hangs
around.

How to go : Forest of Wisdom[Top Left Portal(Tree Dungeon)], you'll be in
Monkey Forest, Go to Top Right Tree and press UP, you'll be in Monkey Forest
2. Go to the Top Right Tree again and press UP and you'll be in Forest of
Evil 1. Go Top Right Tree again and press UP and you'll reach Forest of Evil
2. The Door of Dimension is located at Top Right of the Map. Good Luck.

Partial Resistance
Master Level : 20 Type : Passive
Description : You get additional resistance from Fire & Poison.
Level 1: 23% resistance against fire/poison attacks
Level 10: 50% resistance against fire/poison attacks
Level 20: 70% resistance against fire/poison attacks

Element Amplification
Master Level : 30 Type : Support
Description : Use more MP, but Increase Magic Attack.
Level 1 : MP ¨C105% ; Magic attack +102%
Level 15 : MP ¨C170% ; Magic attack +120%
Level 30 : MP ¨C200% ; Magic attack +135%

Explosion
Master Level : 30 Type : Active
Description : Make an explosion around the character. Attack the enemy with
the fire power.
Level 1 : MP -21; Basic attack 60, mastery 15%, attack range 110%
Level 15 : MP -35; Basic attack 94, mastery 35%, attack range 150%
Level 30 : MP -50; Basic attack 120, mastery 60%, attack range 200%

Poison Myst
Master Level: 30 Type: Active
Description: Make a poison fog around the character.
Level 1: MP -21; Basic attack 32, mastery 15%, attack range 110%, 41%
success rate to put enemy into the state of poison for 4 seconds
Level 15: MP -35; Basic attack 60, mastery 35%, attack range 150%, 55%
success rate to put enemy into the state of poison for 20 seconds
Level 30: MP -50; Basic attack 90, mastery 60%, attack range 200%, 70%
success rate to put enemy into the state of poison for 40 seconds

Seal
Master Level : 20 Type : Active
Pre-requisite : Element Amplification Lv 3
Description : Seals up the enemies around you for a certain amount of time.
Once sealed up, the monsters cannot use attacking skills, but the skill does
not work on boss monsters.
Level 1 : MP -12; 38% success rate for 10 seconds
Level 10 : MP -18; 65% success rate for 15 seconds
Level 20 : MP -30; 95% success rate for 20 seconds

Magic Booster
Master Level : 20 Type : Support
Pre-requisite : Element Amplification Lv 3
Description : Uses up a significant amount of HP and MP to increase the
attacking speed for spells.
Level 1 : HP -53, MP -58; Casting speed +1 for 10 seconds
Level 10 : HP -35, MP -40; Casting speed +1 for 100 seconds
Level 20 : HP -25, MP -30; Casting speed +2 for 200 seconds

Magic Composition
Master Level : 30 Type : Active
Description : Uses fire & poison-based spell on a single enemy. Applies
massive damage to monsters that are weak against fire or poison, and the
enemy will be poisoned on a set success rate.
Level 1 : MP -14; Basic attack 80, mastery 15%, 41% success rate to put
enemy into the state of poison for 4 seconds
Level 15 : MP -18; Basic attack 124, mastery 35%, 55% success rate to put
enemy into the state of poison for 20 seconds
Level 30 : MP -22; Basic attack 150, mastery 60%, 70% success rate to put
enemy into the state of poison for 40 seconds
Reaction of Mine : This Skill may just be the skill to take over Fire Arrow.
It has high Basic Damage and poisons the monster on a success rate over a
limited time.

Section E [Others]

5.1. Playing Tips
1) Play Smart
2) Never do Kill Stealing. It means that when someone attacks a creature and
you kill it, its called Kill Steal. If you did not Kill Steal when someone
shouted ks, argue back. You will surely win. Tell the person what¡¯s really
KS. [I did this quite a few times]
