MMORPG or RPG

I remember the old days when I played diablo II and Sacred. I really liked the storyline and I was leaving with the hero in his adventures... Now the new RPG style, Massive Multipalyer Online RPG, has something new, the ability to interact with other people but I think it has something missing. I don't feel the same passion for my hero, since there is someone better than me on the server, and many times I get killed by some Player Killer that doesn't have anything to do...

Do you guys get what I'm trying to say?

Are MMORPGs better in your opinion? What don't you and what do you like at MMORPGs compared to classic RPGs?

That's true..I agree, I remember playing Solo for some games. It was really fun knowing it's all on you.
But now it's like...There's always someone lol..I get what you're saying I think :P.
But MMORPGs are really fun too, you can play with friends etc..
I guess there's Pros and Cons to both.

i guess PK-ing is part of every mmorpg....but really hates it, when they are pk-ing the low levels that doesn't even do anything to them.....i think it become a cycle now, that one you get killed in PK once they get into high level they will Pk also lowbies.....

MMORPG's need to have more RPG content inside. I mean sure PvP and raiding is fun but what happened to the fun mini games and stuff from RPG?

we should remember that PK-ing is just part of the mmorpg...dont make it the main part of the game.....there's a lot of things to do aside of PKing

I don't miss RPGs, since MMORPGs are in my opinion just advanced RPGs.

But yeah, I like MMORPGs better, since you communicate with other (real) people, instead of talking to some lame robot, with (when it's a good game) some "AI" that can say 3 different things, lol.

Exactly!
Some "normals" RPGs are fun though.
Not because of the gear, but because of the story..

But yeah, bragging about your gear ftw, haha.
