Starcraft 2 Release Date

I will receive my copy of Starcraft 2 in the mail via Best Buy on December 3rd, 2008. Yes it's official. I talked to people at Best Buy and they told me I will receive it on the 3rd.

What kind of comp you have right now?

I would guess you would need at least these for a decent experience.

Nvidia 6900 or higher.
1GB RAM
2.8 Ghz

Graphic card doesn't need to be as good but the processor has to be ATLEAST 2.8 Ghz.

Cadenn, I suggest you purchase a new computer soon. Preferably something over 800 dollars would be good.

well that depends what you need computer for.. i mean if you only surf the net and write documents, its good enough , but not for gaming for example

no release date is final until blizzard has confirmed it. this especially includes what stores clerks in stores who dont know what they are talking about promise. I have been following sc2 in great detail, and i can guarantee it will not even come close to being released this year. We might get a hint at blizzcon, but given the fact that the game is still in early internal alpha is a good indicator that the game is still a long way off. The game is nowhere near release, and the beta will take about 5~ months. I quote Rob Pardo from WWI (July 29th, 2008); he said something like "The single player is 1/3rd done, and i hope i will be able to share some more information about its development by the end of this year". My guess is Q2 2009 Earliest.
