    Network Controller Driver Error?


    Hey, I have a PC that I’ve had for a while now and it recently stopped being able to download games on steam and keeps shutting off due to blue screen error. I checked my drivers and there’s an error. There’s a Network Controller with a yellow exclamation next to it and it says there are no compatible drivers when I try to update it. I tried uninstalling and resetting but it’s still not installing. Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B852&SUBSYS_54711A3B&REV_00

    Problem Code: 0000001C

    I don’t know what to do it’s just not working.

    Xbox New Wireless adapter

    Hello,

    I have the same problem. I have bought the controller together with wireless adapter.

    Windows have all updates for version 1903 (no more updates with manual search found). But wireless adapter told me that no driver availible.

    I only find adapter as Xbox ACC.

    With older driver it will be shown in Network section but with yellow marker (and it tolds me, driver will be stoped as result of to many errors).

    With Cable the controller itself works without any problems.

    P.S.: I have more than one time test all from the support site.

    It is 10am 27th of October - where is the promised driver and the promised Xbox Accessories App?

    "You must update the drivers:

    Click "Network Adapter" to expand the menu and right-click "Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows" > Update Driver Software > Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software"

    This fixed the audio issue I was having with the controller connected via the Wireless Adapter (it worked via USB but not wirelessly until I manually updated said network adapter driver). Thanks!

    Third party controllers are supported via compatible ID (even if the HW ID doesn't match the compatible ID will). IF you had already installed the drivers for your old controller, then the new controller will work with the old driver because of the compatible
    ID match (it will show up as Xbox Gaming Device instead of Controller). However if you've recently reinstalled the OS or uninstalled the drivers then it may not.

    Please use the official drivers from here: catalog.update.microsoft.com/.../Search.aspx. Open in IE, and make sure to choose the driver matching your chipset, x86 for 32bit, amd64 for 64)

    If even then the driver does not automatically load on plugging the device, you can manually force the driver to load, by going to device manager, finding the controller node that is errored->Right Click->Update Driver->Browse local machine for driver. Then
    choose the correct one.

    My Realtek Audio speakers don't play any sound despite all signs indicating that they should be working properly? What could the issue be and how do I rectify it?

    The issue cannot be an out of date sound driver since I checked multiple times that that the sound driver is up to date.

    EDIT: Moved FROM Gaming and Xbox / Hardware and network / Controllers and accessories TO Windows / Windows 11 / Devices and drivers.
