    Xbox X controller no longer pairs.


    My Xbox ONE X controller no longer pairs to my console. It seems to be since it updated 14/04. I have tried all troubleshooting suggested and still doesn't work. It's not interference as was fine prior and no new devices have been introduced to the house and it worked no problem then stopped. The pairing button doesnt work on the Xbox either no more. I have also used the remote on my phone to try and get to the connection settings and this still hasnt worked either The pad works fine on my daughters Xbox upstairs and pairs so I am stumped. Can anyone help?

    Xbox One controller won't automatically reconnect to USB dongle after using wired connection.

    So, I'm on Windows 10 on a PC, and my controller was updated today, and I have the same issue (since forever): if I connect the controller via cable (to, y'know, charge it) it no longer connects. Control panel thinks it's paired, but I have to remove the
    pairing and pair again. I'm connecting with Bluetooth, and even tried two different BT dongles.

    I have struggled with the same issue using the standard Xbox one X controller. I've tried several things but to my knowledge once you pair the controller back to the Xbox, you will need to unpair it and pair it back up to your PC each time you have done

    i just had the same (or very similar) issue with an series x/s controller, what fixed it for me was to forget the controller from my paired bluetooth devices and re-pair it.

    If you Sync a controller to another console it will no longer be paired with the original.

    Not sure why you feel the need to remove a controller from a console.

    Is the xbox 1 x controller suposed to turn on the xbox one x console?

    ALSO, if you just bought the Xbox One X, and haven't tried pairing/syncing the controller, try plugging it in via USB to sync it. ;)
